After long mail room nights stockpiling paper and craft collage, Safari Team prepared the exchange. This was the culmination of all collage, dance, pashing, video, performance and dry humping Safari Team receive throughout the Fringe.
The Craft Exchange has been an ongoing project involving Artists and Supreme Beings from Australia and Overseas. Once an Artist receives craft mail from Safari Team, they are then in the exchange. The only rule being that art exchanged between Safari Team and those participating must be via Post.
The Salon featured works from Melbourne artists Tai Snaith, The Suitcase Royale, Rachel Feery & Lisa Stewart, Kirsty Hulm, Carl Scrase and Safari Team, Sydney artists Soda_Jerk, and Canadian group The Discriminating Gentlemen’s Club.
All works exchanged were exhibited as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, October 2008.
